The Farrier follows the mathematic genuis Emma who fled Boston after killing several people over a card game who now lives in the middle of no where in the Oklahoma Territory working as a farrier. She never misses a shot because of her mathematical ability to calculate it; however, she suffers from not being able to undersand human emotions. In the small town she discovers feelings never felt before when a man is taken by a ruthless cattleman and killed sending Emma on a revenge spree only to be gunned down. As she awakens she learns what it is to be a gunslinger and takes up iron again -- this time prepared -- and destroys the man who killed her only love as she leaves a trail of blood and tears across the praire. The Farrier has a feel of a western John Wick with an amazingly strong woman lead. The path of revenge highlights her passion and deep connection to feelings she never was able to express.
